A complete hen's egg including both yolk and white. Provides high-quality complete protein, choline, lutein, zeaxanthin, and vitamins A, D, and B12. The yolk contains all of the fat and most of the micronutrients; the white is almost entirely protein (albumin). Eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense whole foods and are a major food allergen.
