Privacy Policy

Looksee (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a product transparency tool. We are committed to collecting as little personal data as possible. Most of the site works with no account and no data collection at all.

We use a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — pages visited, referrers, and device types. Umami does not use cookies, does not fingerprint browsers, and does not collect IP addresses or personal identifiers. No data is shared with advertising networks.

• Supabase— our database and authentication provider. Data is stored on servers in the United States. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
• Vercel— our hosting provider. Request logs may be retained for up to 30 days for debugging. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We use a single, strictly necessary session cookie to maintain authentication state for logged-in users. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. You can use Looksee without accepting any cookies simply by not creating an account.

Waitlist emails are deleted within 30 days of the app launch. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You may request deletion of any personal data we hold by contacting us at [email protected].

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Looksee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of Looksee after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
